Commercial harbour has inner and outer quays and two boat piers. Total length of quays 110 m x 2. General cargo berths capable of handling vessels up to 16 000 dwt.
Fishing berth approx 600 m long and 6 m deep.

Container Facilities: Containers handled at West Quay / East quay, depths alongside 7 m and 8 m respectively. Total Terminal area of 2 ha. Ro-Ro vessels can be accommodated at East Quay.

- Point central: Terminal for iron ore fields at Fort D�rick, over 480 km in the interior, to which it is linked by a railway. Located 15 km from Nouadhibou and operated by Soci�t� Nationale Industrielle et Mini�re (SNIM), BP 1248, Nouakchott. Length of quay 245 m with depth alongside 16 m ; Channel depth of 17.5 m. Agents to be notified of ETA 72 h prior to arrival.

- Pointe des mouettes: Located 1.2 km N of Point Central. T-shaped jetty with depth of 11,5 m at the head.

Storage: There is 55 000 m� of open space and 7 000 m� of covered space available. Cold storage facilities of 5 500 m�. In addition you have many private storages that is not included in this.

Cranes: Cranes available in many different sizes.

This quay of 45,6 m of wide on steel pile with a large diameter is used in earth facilities by a bridge of 732,5 m wide fitted on steel pile.
